What is Wordle?

Wordle is a puzzle game that has taken over the social network Twitter. It was developed by Briton Josh Wardle and has been gaining popularity since the end of December 2021. At first, the game was available only in English, but in 2022 a Russian-language version appeared.

Rules of the game

The player is given 6 attempts to guess the five-letter word of the day (the same for all participants in the game), while the guessed letters are colored yellow, and if they are also in place, they are green. The game can only be played once a day by visiting the respective website, which is designed very simply, without ads or banners, and thus does not distract the players.

Wordle is designed so that the player does not need to spend a lot of time solving puzzles. Thus, the risks of “freezing” in the game for the whole day are reduced, and gambling addiction, which poses a serious danger to modern children and adolescents, does not develop. In addition, you can play Wordle only once a day.
